Quetzalcoatl was born in the city of Puebla, in Mexico, in the year 2000 as an Afro-Cuban persecution ensemble. In the year 2001 the group starts experimenting with music, fire, theatre and dance, creating an own artistic expression style, participating in numerous festivals though out the Mexican Republic. In the year 2002, an intention of expressing, transmitting and assimilating the union between rhythm, fire and earth is born, introducing Mexican Aztec culture musicals and rituals. In this way, Quetzalcoatl emanates energy and connects human senses leading the spectator throughout time.
